Introduction: Pelvic congestion syndrome is defined as the presence of varicose changes in ovarian veins and venous plexuses associated with chronic pelvic pain syndrome. The main problem low awareness medical staff about this resulting very recognition. 
 State knowledge: an important cause pain. diagnosis based on imaging examination ultrasound a first-line choice correlation clinical presentation. aetiology multifactorial may result from combination genetic predisposition, anatomical abnormalities, hormonal, mechanical factors wall weakness, reverse blood flow hypertension. incidence strongly related to number pregnancies. Conclusions: one possible causes pain, thus differential should necessarily include insufficiency during interviewing, patients. Among several treatment methods, intravascular embolization minimally invasive, effective safe, currently recognised method treatment.
